Incense offering ceremony for the famous incense "Awajishima" ~ Awajishima, the birthplace of fragrant wood
April 18th is "Incense Day." A special event, the "Incense Offering Ceremony" and "Famous Incense Appreciation Event" will be held at Izanagi Shrine.
Through the offering of the famous incense "Awajishima" by Yukosai Sogen, the 20th head of the Shino school of incense art, we will pray for peace of mind for people. At the afternoon famous incense appreciation event, you can experience the scent of three precious types of agarwood.

10:00~ Incense offering ceremony (can be viewed from the worship area)
13:00~ Famous incense appreciation event (1st session, capacity 20 people/advance reservation required)
14:00~ Famous incense appreciation event (2nd session, capacity 20 people/advance reservation required)
How to make a reservation
Advance reservations by phone are required to participate in the Famous incense appreciation event.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis for each session, and will close once capacity is reached.
