Awaji Flower Expo 25th Anniversary Flower and Green Fair "Bicycle Rental Promotion Project" Subsidy Program

During the fair, bicycle rental businesses that offer reduced bicycle rental fees will receive a subsidy for a portion of the reduced fees so that tourists who visit Awaji Island by public transportation can use rental bicycles to get around comfortably.
Subsidy recipients
Local governments or private businesses (hereinafter referred to as "organizations") that operate bicycle rental businesses on Awaji Island. However, private businesses must meet all of the following criteria.
(1) An organization must have organization rules and clearly identify the business manager, accounting manager, etc.
(2) There must be no overdue prefectural taxes.
(3) The representative and members of the recipient must not be an organized crime group, a member of an organized crime group, or a person closely related to an organized crime group as defined in Article 2, Paragraphs 1 to 3 of the Hyogo Prefecture Ordinance for the Exclusion of Organized Crime Groups (Ordinance No. 35 of 2010).
Eligible Expenses
1. The expenses eligible for the subsidy are the amount of the reduction in the rental bicycle fee. However, this is limited to bicycle rental users who use the main or satellite venues of the Hanamidori Fair and rent for more than two hours.
2. When renting out a bicycle eligible for the subsidy, the recipient must make it clear that the discount is due to the Hanamidori Fair subsidy, by making it clear that the original rental price and the discounted rental price are clearly indicated.
3. The subsidy cannot be used in conjunction with a reduction system determined by the recipient.
Eligible Period
The eligible period for the subsidy is the Hanamidori Fair period.
Flower and Green Fair Period: Thursday, March 20, 2025 (National Holiday) - Sunday, April 27, 2025
Subsidy Amount, etc.
Subsidies will be paid within the budget, with a maximum of 500 yen per rental bicycle.
Review
Applications will be reviewed by the Awaji Flower Expo 25th Anniversary Project Executive Committee Secretariat based on the application documents.
*There are cases where applications will be rejected or the amount of the subsidy will be reduced.
Submission deadline for grant application
Must arrive by Friday, December 20, 2024
